The Goon Line 028: Mustardayonnaise

Last night I walked to the grocery store to begin to slowly stock the fridge in our new lil rental joint. I only had space in my arms/tote/heart for one condiment, so I went with a salad dressing (B- choice). What I wanted was mustardayonnaise, a Mr. Show bit that I think about probably three times a month, minimum.

My friend Peter told me about this sketch probably 20 years ago, and it has been an important part of my return internet diet since. It’s probably worth mentioning that the guy who says “LET’S GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE” as Abraham Lincoln was one of the people who stormed the Capitol, so he probably said that same line wearing this hat, and that’s both horrifying and hilarious. I also say “LET’S GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE” seven out of 10 times I am trying to leave places (OFTEN), but am only wearing a meat hat about a third of those.

Anyway, please watch this sketch, despite it featuring someone who ended up being deeply problematic, and think about it the next time you dip into your jar of Goober Grape.
