The Goon Line 036: Prisencolinensinainciusol

I haven’t researched if eclipses make people behave differently, but were I to write the movie of the way I think life should be, everyone would spontaneously break into coordinated song and dance during a planetary event like this one. And why not engage in this wacky behavior during a wacky event to a very wacky (and delightful, I promise) song?

Prisencolinensinainciusol is an Italian song with entirely made-up lyrics that is intended to sound like American pop music. And here’s the thing: It bangs. (That is the best video version; I am sorry it’s a Facebook link that I cannot embed here, but I highly encourage you to watch it.) As you know, I love strong commitment to a bit, and writer/performer Adriano Celentano goes full-tilt on this one. Maybe a bit I will do later today is stare directly into the sun for 45 consecutive unblinking minutes. LOL!
